Genetic Affairs ("us", "we", or "our") operates the www.geneticaffairs.com website (the "Service"). The information we collect
Genetic Affairs collects a variety of information that you provide directly to us. We process your information when necessary to provide and improve our Service to you that you have requested when accepting our Terms of Service. What Types of Data are Collected:

1a. Personal Data
While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personal data that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personal data may include, but is not limited to:
- Email address
- First name and last name
- Cookies and Usage Data

1b. Payment information
If you are a user of our paid service, we will utilize a third party credit card payment (https://stripe.com/) processing company to collect payment information, including your credit card number, billing address and phone number. The third party service provider, and not Genetic Affairs, stores your payment information on our behalf.

1c. Website Data
While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that is used to login onto certain websites that provide updates of new DNA matches. This information may include:
- Email address and password for Ancestry DNA
- Login credentials and password for FamilyTreeDNA
- Access and Refresh Tokens for 23andme which allow for downloading DNA relative information.

1d. Genetic Data
While using our Service, updates of new DNA matches are stored in a secure database. This information includes unique identifiers for DNA matches from Ancestry DNA, FamilyTreeDNA and 23andme.

1e. Usage Data
We may also collect information how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

1f. Log Files
When you use the Services, our servers automatically record certain information in server logs. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type and settings, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links on the Services, metadata associated with uploaded Content, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, mobile carrier, date and time stamp information and other such information.

1g. Tracking Cookies Data
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service. Cookies are files with small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service. The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service: - Google Analytics: Google Analytics is a web analytics service. You can visit their Privacy Policy page here.
We have anonymized the IP address information by removing the last three digits prior to allowing it to be send to Google Analytics. In addition, all four sharing options in the Google Analytics account settings have been disabled.

6. Right of access and erasure
We provide you the right to get access, upon request, to your personal data and information and about how this personal data is being processed. In addition, we provide a right to erasure.
